Autumn in Madrid needs no filter

Despite every one of us breathing through filters (face-masks) right now due to pandemic, a sunny autumn day in the Spanish capital needs no filter. Madrid’s green has turned golden and the colours are currently burning bright in the city’s parks and along its tree-lined boulevards, making it a wonderland for photographers to explore.

So, in these travel-restrictive times, I thought I’d brighten up your day and make you dream of visiting Madrid next autumn – when the world will hopefully be easier and safer to travel in again.

Most of these photos were taken on November 1st, where the temperatures in Madrid reached just above 20 degrees Celcius. With a stretch of rainy days forecasted for the next couple of weeks, I grabbed my friend Nikon and headed out to make the most of it, in an attempt to soak up Madrid’s autumn in all its glory…
